It is very easy to save an animal’s life and make it incredibly happy. All it needs is warmth and comfort and just to be needed by someone.

For a person, adopting a pet is a huge responsibility, but it is the best thing we can do to protect and save it. A simple decision can change someone’s life.

This is Knopka. Sterile, treated, vaccinated. 2 years old.

A dog with a very difficult fate. At the beginning of her life, she was thrown out into a vacant lot, where she was not accepted by a pack. Then she became one of the few survivors of a deliberate mass poisoning of dogs. And even two years later, when luck seemed to smile on her and she was taken from the shelter into a home, she soon had to go back.

But she is not discouraged and knows that she will definitely be lucky!

Unfortunately, Knopka‘s first attempt to find a home was unsuccessful.

While walking with her new owner, she broke loose from her leash and ran away.

Thanks to the help of caring people, she was found.

But that was the end of her short history as a domestic dog.

They returned home to the shelter…

Knopka went to her family!

We hope that everything will work out for her.

She hasn’t changed her registration, and she’s still an Odessa resident.

People, take animals from the shelter! They don’t know another life that can be outside the shelter, and that’s why they’re very afraid.

One of the most terrible things a person can do is betray a friend. It doesn’t matter if it’s a person, a dog, or a cat – when you betray a friend, you betray yourself, your emotions, and your life in general.

Knopka didn’t have a normal life, she was thrown out into a vacant lot and was abused there, the pack didn’t accept her, didn’t give her food and chased her out of the booth, so she was forced to sit in the pipe all the time.

Together with her only new friend, Myshka (Mouse), she experienced a real tragedy, but survived when 28 dogs were poisoned in a vacant lot (see news from 02/13/23).

But her soul did not close, did not distance herself, but, on the contrary, now she is looking for her most reliable and dear person in the people around her!

She often complains about something now, proves her good looks, nuzzles her nose into hands, kisses everyone’s face, tries to please and adapts to new conditions, just so that they don’t betray her, so that they don’t give her up again and throw her out.

Sociable, playful, obedient, active, curious, fully adapted to living in a family, delicate. Of course, it will take time for her emotional state to calm down, but she is worth this time!

Such an incredible girl and a completely childlike spontaneity!
