A shelter dog who has been with the family for over five years – Pampidou.
This girl is worth telling more about.
She was adopted by a very intelligent family. They came especially for her because she looked the most miserable in the photo.In late February 2020, while out for an evening walk, Pampidou got scared and ran off, her leash on, wherever her eyes led. It was freezing cold, icy, and Sasha, Lena, and I were scouring the area for the fugitive. It’s good that I posted on Facebook in time, and people started responding. They saw her there, and she ran there. It was absolutely terrifying. But she managed to run into one of the entrances and was spotted. That was it! She was practically home.
So little Pampidou introduced me to and befriended two wonderful and beloved people – Sasha and Lena. These people have always selflessly helped in any way they could. Sasha is fighting, but he always finds a way to donate money for food for Zatoka. I can talk to Lena every day. Lena is the one who gets the most shares! If anyone has any dog medication left, she’s the first one to call me and ask if I need it.
Pampidou’s family affectionately calls him “Duda.” Not Andrzej).

Greetings from Pampidou at home!
There’s a new member in the family, and now this is her “TV”).
The couple adopted her before the war, and then we became friends. Our very warm relationship with the owners grew into a strong and true friendship.
Sasha and Lena are ardent fans of our shelter, they care about the animals and help us in any way they can!

She always has something to say, and this is her whole essence! A tiny dog was met on the Bypass Road in Odessa – frightened eyes, an exhausted appearance and a hoarse voice – at that moment the dog could be described exactly like that. The thought immediately popped up in the person’s head: “Wasn’t she abandoned here to the mercy of fate?”
It was unanimously decided to take her to the “My Living Dogs” Dog Care Center. Within a couple of days it will become clear that this meeting was fateful for Pampidou. After all, after an examination at the veterinary clinic, the specialists unanimously repeated: “The dog remained hungry for so long that it is unlikely to be saved…”.
But such a medical conclusion did not stop the Center’s staff and they began to save the dog! Starting from a few grams of milk hourly and ending with three full meals a day.
Pampidou was rapidly recovering. Every day, the dog changed: its body gradually gained mass, a spark appeared in its eyes, and its hoarse voice turned into a ringing “Woof!”
By the way, about the nickname. The name Pampidou was given to the dog at the Center for a reason: the little one quickly fought for life and won this confrontation! And she reached the finish line of her health journey as an absolutely healthy, beautiful dog! Such a story at the end was accompanied by the words: “Pum-pum-pidu!”
Today, Pampidou is a small and interesting dog at the Foster Care Center, who has successfully joined the team of four-legged dogs and who is often called an “actress”. The explanation for this is simple – in different situations she knows how to behave differently and this is very interesting to watch.
All this “actress” lacks is the Master. Pampidou has come too long a way to learn to love again.
