help us!

The week started the same way it ended.
Still no water. Today marks exactly a week.
This is all very sad…
Today, the hydrophore was activated and water began flowing up from the reserve for the dogs. And there are only three tons left. This is all very disappointing. And, unfortunately, it will soon run out.
Moreover, I suddenly had to face the fact that there was no one to turn to. There was some nearby worker who came by and didn’t find anything wrong. There was also some other utility company who also didn’t understand what was going on and could only assume there was simply no power at the pumping station…
It’s becoming clear that we’ve been driven back into the Stone Age! But the worst thing is – there are no water carriers. That would be the end of the world!
Thanks to Lilia Penova, who spent the whole day with us looking for a water carrier.
The first batch of dinner is ready.
We prepared 70 liters of porridge and 40 kg of meat for dinner. We cook in batches. Place a pot of porridge and a pot of meat on the stove. We do this in two batches. The butter is added and the ingredients are mixed together at the end, just before serving.
Starting tomorrow, we’ll be temporarily switching from porridge. We got a quick delivery of food today. We’ll stick with that for now.
That’s how it is…
We’ve been wanting to share how we heat for a long time.
And can you imagine that everything is automated! Everything is carefully planned, with provisions taken into account (in case everything is destroyed and we run out).
But still, a terrible anxiety lingers. What about the poor owners of other shelters, where there’s no heating, no automatic controls, no solar panels? It’s terrifying, when you’re responsible for so many animals, and you’re responsible for their lives, it’s not just uneasy, it’s downright terrifying.
Yes, it’s war, no matter how you look at it. Sometimes with canisters, sometimes with buckets, sometimes with a generator…
So, that’s the news we have at the beginning of the week!
