Saturday is not a time for idle leisure. Especially since winter is just around the corner!
Today we were busy gathering firewood. We transported all the construction waste and cut it into firewood.
Just 8 wheelbarrows! But we’ll still have a couple more days of sawing, that’s for sure. The daylight hours are very short, so we don’t have much time…
And this is the boiler for heating the cats and the staff.
But once the day’s work is done, we can allow ourselves to rest and relax. And dine on a delicious mushroom sauce and fragrant hot pies made according to Marina’s recipe. And then sit together in the cozy gazebo, watching the fire burn in the fireplace!
