10 December 2024

Have you ever noticed how they look? You only have to look at them for a split second, and hope flares up: “Will you take me?” And then the eyes go out… They become sad and look away.

They are ashamed of us.

Stray dogs… Stray cats… Pedigree and non-pedigree – homeless, abandoned – by us.

Unintelligent, still with blue eyes, on unsteadily shaking paws, in the middle of the sidewalk – and he is already abandoned.

Crawling on the road, almost newborn kittens, thrown out of the entrance by a “neat” janitor.

The largest number of homeless or “domestic”, but destitute and hungry, exhausted workers-breadwinners – our old people. They solve the problems themselves – they leave… Lonely, unhappy, offended people – those who gave birth to us. They are abandoned. But where to think about the largest number of homeless animals per capita?

But what else can we do more correctly than to turn away, look away and try to forget about them when we see the pleading eyes of a homeless mongrel or a frozen, shivering baby cat. Not to think – to forget, forget, forget!

Lord, forgive us our sins!

In the hope that he will not take his eyes off our pleading eyes, so that he can turn away and not think about us – forget, forget, forget… Because He still hopes that we are not completely lost.

Please help those who will definitely not survive!
