Gerda and Dakota Story
Two lonely girls sat in front of me, no one wanted. Who are they waiting for when looking at the sea? Where will they go when it gets dark? Is there someone to feed and cuddle them?
I decided to pick them up. “Take it away, please! They brought it to be put to sleep.” No one showed up for the whole day, not a single call about these girls.
The sun slowly sank into the sea. A light breeze raised a small wave, making it feel fresher.
– Good evening! I wanted to feed the girls, but they didn’t take the food. Looks like they’re waiting for someone.
– Yes, they are waiting. And they prepare an escape plan. They do not understand that they were betrayed because someone is tired of them, and they firmly believe that they need to run to where they are expected and missed.
Now everything is behind them, but these faithful little ones, Gerda and Dakota, still look into the eyes of people who come to visit us. They look with a silent question in their eyes: “You came for me? Really? Or not?”
Incomparable and devoted two girls, mother and daughter, have not lost faith in people. Still waiting…
