Conclusions have been drawn!
Honestly, we can’t even remember right away how cold it was, and for so long…
No, we are prepared, because everything was insulated.
Well, of course, no one expected -20°C on the shore of a pond. It’s a shame we had to fix everything on the fly and in such cold. A real shame. But now we’re prepared for -30°C.
The bad news is that we could have done all this right away in the fall, not expecting the foam to save us. It didn’t, and we had to redo everything.
It must be admitted, when a heating system fails in such a severe frost, it’s hard to compare it to anything else…
That’s it! We survived and forgot! It’s a shame about the health, wasted energy, and wasted resources…
