Unfortunately, animals, like the intelligentsia, pay for their illusions. For their excessive faith in people. We sometimes think that because it’s the 21st century, that means something, that people have become kinder, more compassionate, wiser… But then reality sets in and shatters our illusions.
But despite the hardships and war, let us not allow concepts such as Goodness, Compassion, and Mercy to die!
Please shelter, warm, feed, or, better yet, adopt an animal from the street or a shelter! They are helpless, and no one can help them except you. Remember that you are human!
