I always leave silently.

I don’t see any point in explaining anything. People know perfectly well what they did. They slandered, betrayed, robbed, and set up. Why explain? You just need to leave quietly and calmly. Explanations make sense when there’s even the slightest chance of continuing the relationship. It’s especially sad when the person was valuable and dear to you.

Of course, they’ll ask you in amazement: “What’s wrong? What happened?” And they’ll offer to talk. Not even talk, but sort things out. Then you’ll get accusations that you’re weird and abnormal. Just imagine, out of the blue! You left, stopped answering calls, blocked them for no reason.

And then, of course, there will be nastiness. That will happen when there’s no point in pretending anymore.

You can’t stand being silently left?

You can’t be alone with your conscience? Bad, right? But you can’t fool it or silence it.

When you leave silently, it’s a terrible punishment. Because others are left alone with themselves. And with the sky. And there’s no one left to pretend to. And no one to ask forgiveness of—but they don’t ask it at first. And then it’s too late.

I never regretted leaving silently and without any arguments. Not once!
