Thousands of animals in Ukraine are starving. We haven’t left them behind.

Since the war began, over 14 million people have fled Ukraine—many forced to leave behind their beloved pets. Now, across bombed-out cities and rural roads, thousands of dogs and cats roam hungry, scared, and alone.

Wildlife & Welfare and its team of local volunteers are still on the ground, every single day.

We’ve already delivered over 82,000 kg of food, helping more than 9,000 animals survive the unthinkable. And we’ve spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped over 1,470 animals to stop the suffering from multiplying.

But as attention shifts and donations fall, our work is at risk.

These animals have no one else.

Shelters are full. Volunteers are overwhelmed. And food is running out.
