Expenses for May at the shelter:

• Shelter communal – UAH 5,000.
• Salary of employees – UAH 10,000.
• Meals for employees for a month (potatoes, pasta, butter, vegetable oil, tomato, onion, chicken backs, sausages, coffee, tea, biscuits, onions, carrots, cabbage, beets, spices, bread (an average of 16 loaves per month), sugar, flour, matches, toilet paper – UAH 4,000 – 5,000 (monthly).
• Purchase of detergents for general cleaning of the house (washing powder, loose detergent “Gala”, 2 brooms, detergent for carpets, washing liquid for glass, sponges, rags, furniture polish) – UAH 1,500.
• Warehouse rent – UAH 1,500 (monthly).
• Replacement of a part for a “Kärcher” washer – UAH 350, a new hose – UAH 1,000.
• 2 Coils for a petrol mower – UAH 820.
• 4 knives for a petrol mower – UAH 800.
• Gasoline for a lawn mower – UAH 3,000.
• Mowing the grass on the territory of the shelter and around it – UAH 3,000.
• May 11 – loading / unloading of feed and delivery to checkpoints and shelter – UAH 4,000.
• 5 tests for dirofilariasis – UAH 3,000.
• 10 Nexgard tablets – UAH 4,000.
• The fight for Kvitka’s life cost us UAH 10,235 (droppers, intravenous injections, hospital, ultrasound, tests). Unfortunately, it ended in failure…
• Purchase of drugs to support Ryzhuli – UAH 2,000.
• Examination of Boni, which we took from Zatoka – UAH 2,800.
• Facebook ad spend was USD 84.

Total – UAH 58,000 and USD 84.

It’s lucky that there are vitamins and supplements left over from the past months.

Also now, dogs and cats are getting canned food, which was frantically bought at the beginning of the war, the expiration date of which expires in September of this year.

What else needs to be done in May this year:

On May 11th, we handed over 300 kg of feed above the bridge in Zatoka.

It remains to come once again to Karolino-Bugaz and Zatoka to the bridge, spread food on the locations ourselves, and talk with volunteers.

And the trip itself is also expensive.

It is also very important to purchase firewood and coal. This is simply vital to do right now. The cost of a ton of coal is UAH 17,300.
