Many people say that everyone still cannot be saved. This is not true. It’s wrong to stop doing good, even if you know that you won’t help anyone anyway.

One parable comes to mind:

“Once upon a time, many starfish washed up on the seashore. The shore was literally littered with them. A boy walked along the shore and threw stars into the sea.

A man passed by:

“What are you doing?” he shouted. The boy shrugged and threw another star into the sea.

“I’m saving the stars,” he answered.

“Why are you doing it? After all, you can’t help them all! A lot of them! Nothing will change!” the man exclaimed. The boy thought for a moment and picked up another clam.

“Everything will change. For this star!” he said clearly and threw the starfish into the sea.

”Globally, nothing will change, because there are many of them and they always need help. But for one little soul everything will change. She will have someone to love, who loves her, who cares about her. Of course, it is worth taking animals from the street, from shelters, knowing that you can provide them with a decent future.

So why don’t we take a step forward? Why do you have to pass by, indifferently missing your hungry eyes? Animals are our smaller brothers, and older ones always help the younger ones, isn’t that right?

Let it be so that now every cold lonely soul feels peace and joy. Let everyone see the rainbow flickering of lights in the silence of the night, see and know that they are loved and waited there.
