Akela's Story
Dogs are also sad, but unlike humans, they know about whom…
This is Akela! Affectionate, good guy! Strong both in spirit and physically, handsome!
Now Akela is healthy, neutered, dewormed and vaccinated.
But he was looked very different when get to us into our shelter.
It’s really hard to write about him. A skinny, hunted dog was tied to a tree with a noose in the landing by the Kyiv highway when he was found by our volunteers…
…In general, you can often hear the question about an abandoned pet: “Why was it thrown out”? And it is impossible to find an answer to it. There are no bad dogs. There are bad owners, broken destinies, but there is never a dog guilty of its abandonment. But in this case, he was not just thrown out, they just tried to kill him!..
…After finding him, he was immediately brought to the clinic and a long road of recovery began.
During the few months that he has been in our shelter, we have done everything to restore his faith in people.
We fed him, warmed him up, carried out all the necessary medical measures under the guidance of veterinarian Ksenia Gudzenko.
The only thing left from a past hungry life is the fear that one day there will be no food.
He still greedily grabs food and canned food…
Sometimes Akela is sad, but does not lose hope and faith that everything will be fine with him!
He is looking for a home and family! A happy sequel is required!
