Who are we?
In May 2018, an unusual place appeared in Odessa. It was founded by three people: a woman, a horse, and a terminally ill old dog. They called it “Friends Point” and dreamed of bringing more people together to care.
Since then, more than 700 animals have passed through this center, each of which has found a family.
Today, we are the «Berserk Animal Rescue Federation», a public organization. We are The “My Living Dogs” temporary shelter for homeless animals, a training center, “Friends Point”, a team of veterinarians, animal psychologists, dog handlers, and volunteers, and we share one common principle: every animal deserves a home!
What do we do?
We rescue homeless animals, treat them, sterilize them, rehabilitate them, and find them families.
We support a number of locations in Odessa and the Odessa region—from the city to Zatoka—where homeless animals are regularly fed, sterilized, and vaccinated.
We conduct classes for children and adults, teaching compassion and responsible treatment of animals.
We help those who have witnessed animal cruelty.We work despite the war, and continue to build and develop!

What are we like?
The “Berserk Animal Rescue Federation” is made up of strong and courageous people.
Did you know that strong people are often much more vulnerable than weak ones? During a hurricane, a flexible reed bends and rustles, but a pine tree simply breaks and dies forever—so say the Chinese, and the Chinese know what they’re talking about.
Strong people are not responsible for themselves at all. And not even for their loved ones. They are responsible for the whole world that has fallen into their orbit. Because force attracts – that’s what physicists say, and they also know what they’re talking about.
Strong people are not healthier or stronger than everyone else. They just know for sure that they have no right to faint and die while someone still depends on them. They are able to jump into the water during a massive heart attack, swim to a drowning child, pull him ashore, make sure that nothing else threatens him, and only then turn off. That’s what doctors say – and doctors have seen much more miracles in their lifetime than physicists and the Chinese combined.
And strong people are very lonely… And not at all because they don’t tolerate anyone next to them. It’s just… they’re strong, aren’t they? It never occurs to anyone that it hurts, scary, lonely, just sad…
Strong, silent people walk the earth. It’s not always easy, not always pleasant, not always comfortable with them—but they’re reliable! They are the cavalry that always comes to the rescue at the last moment.
