Monika and Ulybaka

Two inseparable friends Monica and Ulybaka have found their new family!

Have you ever wondered how fairy tales are written? How, for example, did Ernest Hemingway or Charles Perrault translate the story of old man Santiago, or pretty Cinderella, onto a sheet of paper? This is where such brilliant ideas come from, do you think?

In fact, everything is simple, because the most exciting and magical stories happen to us almost every day. All you have to learn is to just notice them. How often do you see a girl wearing headphones with a smile on her face? And the guy in the flower shop, his frantic search for the most beautiful flower for his beloved mother? Have you also seen a dog crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing along with people on the green traffic light?

Speaking of dogs, it seems that Astrid Lindgren wrote her story “The Kid and Carlson, who lives on the roof” from our pets of the Dog Foster Center “My Living Dogs” – Monika and Ulybaki.

Here Carlson is the imperious Monika, it’s better not to argue with her! And the Kid is the literal embodiment of a playful and slightly modest Ulybaka. The two dogs complement each other exactly as Lindgren wrote about it in her text. Authoritative Monika loves to command, but not in the presence of Ulybaka. The latter, in turn, knows how to put everyone around her in a good mood, and her name speaks for itself! It is worth noting that this duet is not only captivating with a smile, but when there is someone to hug, Monica does not waste a second and hugs her tightly with her paws.

Both dogs want to give all this to the only person who boldly called himself their Master. A funny couple of pets is looking for a home where they will always be welcome, where it will be fun, warm and cozy.
