Another life saved from the Kherson region after the disaster at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. The dog was first called Kakhovka after the place where she was found, and now Laska.
She has been through a lot. Another dog escaped with her, but that one was much less lucky. She went to Rainbow a few months ago, perhaps not somewhere under the fence, but quietly, at home, on the pillow of her beloved new owner.
Laska has a mother. A wonderful woman, Oksana, with a carload of love and care, who was not afraid to take on a difficult old dog (Laska is, after all, nine years old), and even with a whole bunch of illnesses.
June 21, 2023 She was operated on and the tumor was removed. The operation was very difficult, but she did it! By the way, her fellow countrywoman, the shepherd Bagheera, who miraculously remained alive after the same tragedy, shared funds for the operation.
And now all fears are behind her! Laska already lives in an apartment, has care and is examined by a doctor. And she even seems to look younger).
