Writing this post for me is the most difficult than everything that has been written before. Perhaps, the fate of this dog depends on my words and emotions.
Yes, dog. Each, absolutely every dog for me is a whole universe. As I have said more than once, you need to feel the dog, understand it, hear it. And then, it will let you into its world and already you, you will never want to go out of it back to people.
Her name is Bagheera. Among relatives – Bagha. I’m not afraid of this phrase she is one of the symbols of the disaster in Kherson and the region.
Her story would have remained in complete oblivion if she had not been untied in time from the chain that had been crushing her neck, soul and heart for the past 10 years. She ate disgustingly, the worst thing, which is very rare. And, it remains to guess – what. According to our information, it is good if a couple of times a week.
Someone will take sin upon their soul and think: with such a life, it would be better to die. But the dog god heard her dog prayers! She not only escaped, not only became a symbol absolutely worthy of a bronze statue. She didn’t even get into the hands, she got into the heart of Lyudmila Melnikova (Animal Rescue Federation “Вerserk”). All forces and means were thrown at her treatment, rehabilitation and attempts to bring her back to life, attempts to socialize her.
To date, Bagha is making tremendous progress. Makes contact with a person! With a PERSON, and not with some former creature throwing “food” over the fence. Every animal wants to lie down next to its human and never leave again. Faithfully live and serve. Bagheera is no exception. Yes, she is not young. Yes, she has health problems, but they can be solved. Solved first of all – by love.
How long does she have left? Only the dog god and the rainbow with clouds knows about this.
I believe that each of us has a conscience of love, compassion and even self-sacrifice. Self-sacrifice in the name of life! After all, it doesn’t matter what you said or did. What matters is how much you saved, how many chances you gave another being to live.
Bagheera sleeps in his enclosure, albeit comfortable, and sees dreams. Dreams in which one of you strokes her head and whispers the most important words in a dog’s life: “I love you! I will never betray you and I will never give you up to anyone.”

We went through 6 consultations with her!
Rehabilitologist Andrey Nazarov took up Bagheera. A set of exercises, massage, nutrition according to Andrey‘s method was developed, taking into account all the features of the condition, breed and age of Bagheera.
And today you can show the first result! Yes, we are at the beginning of the journey, but we already have positive dynamics!
We would like to note that we have wonderful people!
From the first day of the rescue, Elena Kuzar helps save Bagheera. So today, together with Svetlana Monastyrskaya, a drug was purchased that can help Bagheera in treatment.

The next day, June 8th, when only the first day in the clinic had passed, there was no improvement in his condition. But, on the other hand, Bagheera went to the toilet on her own. This is a very good sign!
An x-ray shows a protrusion in the thoracic region.
It takes three days to see if we can put her on her hind legs. Although Bagheera is aged, there is always a chance.
