We took in four puppies. Two girls and two boys.

They were simply dumped along the road like trash…

Hungry, always waiting for a car. For love, for a kind word, they run after the car to the ends of the earth, just so it doesn’t abandon them, just so it stops. For a look, for a pat on the head, for attention. There’s not much hope, but still!

Have you ever seen anyone love you unconditionally, other than your mother? Have they spent hours staring at your car?….

Oh, people, dear people…

When the war ends, people will be kind. Shelters will be empty of cages because all the animals will be taken into homes. There will be no more homeless dogs and cats on the streets, and people will sign up to “adopt” a pet. People will smile at each other, and no one will ever again see animals “falling at their feet,” begging for food and water!

I really want to believe it…

…Now the puppies are already vaccinated, sterilized, and treated for parasites.

And they believe that their Human will come for them! And will never abandon them!
